Q.1 What is photoshop ?
फोटोशॉप क्या है
Ans. एडोब फोटोशॉप एक ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर है जिसका प्रयोग इमेज एडिटिंग, ग्राफ़िक एडिटिंग, और डिजिटल आर्ट के लिए किया जाता है. ये सॉफ्टवेयर डिज़ाइन और एडिटिंग प्रोसेस को एक तरह से फ्लेक्सिबिलिटी प्रदान करने के लिए लेयरिंग का इस्तेमाल करती है. इसके साथ ही एडिटिंग के लिए बहुत ही पावरफुल टूल्स की सुविधा देती है. इस तरह इन सभी की वजह से ये एक परिपूर्ण सॉफ्टवेयर बन जाता है जिसमे लगभग फोटो से जुड़े हर तरह के काम किया जा सकता है.
Q. 2 Differentiate between bitmap and vector images.
Q. 2 बिटमैप और वेक्टर इमेज में अंतर करें।
Ans Bitmap Image कई सारे छोटे-छोटे square या point से बनते हैं, मतलब उसमे जो लाइन होती है वो dot (………………………) कुछ इस तरीके से बनी होती है. अगर आप किसी भी text को zoom कर के देखेंगे तो आपको ये text dot के symbol जैसे दिखाई देते हैं.
इसके अंदर आपको जो ये dots दिखाई दे रहे हैं इन्हे हम Pixels या resolution कहते हैं. इसके अंदर जो resolution होता है उसका निर्धारण DPI ( Dots Per Inch ) या फिर PPI ( Points Per Inch ) से करते हैं.
वैसे तो Bitmap Image बहुत ही अच्छी रहती है, लेकिन जब हम इसको कुछ समय के बाद बड़ा करके देखते हैं तो इसकी quality खराब हो जाती है लेकिन ये हैं कि इसके अंदर हम text को अलग-अलग colour से इसका बहुत ही अच्छी smooth painting बना सकते हैं.
JPEG, PNG, GIF ( format ) इसी के example है
Vector Image Bitmap Image से अलग होती है, क्योंकि यह Image Pixels Based नहीं होती है और यह resolution independent होती है.
BitmapImage को तो कम या ज्यादा एडिट करते हैं तो इसकी quality खराब हो जाती है, लेकिन Vector Image को आप कितना भी कम या ज्यादा एडिट करें लेकिन इसकी quality खराब नहीं होती है. इसका मतलब तो ये है कि हम इसको कितना भी छोटा या बड़ी करके इसका print use करते हैं.
बिटमैप और वेक्टर इमेज में अंतर
Bitmap Image Pixels Based होती है, लेकिन Vector Image Mathemetical Calculation के जरिए shapes बना सकते हैं.
Bitmap Image का Dimension और Resolution निश्चित होता है, लेकिन Vector image को किसी भी आकार मे scale किया जा सकता है.
Bitmap image Painting के लिए perfect है, लेकिन Vector Image Drawing के लिए perfect है.
Bitmap Image का format JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PSD है लेकिन Vector Image का format AI, CDR, SVG है.
Bitmap Image को Vector Image मे convert किया जा सकता है, लेकिन इसमे बहुत ही ज्यादा समय लग जाता है. लेकिन अगर हम बात करें Vector Image को BitmapImage मे convert करने की तो बहुत ही आसानी से कर सकते हैं.
Bitmap Image के लिए Photoshop और Gimp Software का use करते हैं, लेकिन Vector Image के लिए Illustrator, Coreldraw और inkscape का use करते हैं.
Bitmap Image का size जितना बड़ा होगा, उसके साथ ही File का size भी बड़ा हो जाएगा. लेकिन Vector Image मे file का size छोटा होता है.
Q. 3 Write a short note on pixel and resolution?
Ans. एक पिक्सेल (चित्र तत्व के लिए छोटा) एक तस्वीर में एक एकल बिंदु है। कंप्यूटर के मॉनिटर पर, एक पिक्सेल आमतौर पर एक वर्ग होता है। हर पिक्सेल का रंग होता है और सभी पिक्सेल एक साथ होते हैं। शब्द "पिक्सेल" वास्तव में "पिक्चर एलिमेंट" के लिए छोटा है। ये छोटे छोटे डॉट्स हैं जो कंप्यूटर डिस्प्ले पर चित्र बनाते हैं, चाहे वे फ्लैट-स्क्रीन (एलसीडी) या ट्यूब (सीआरटी) मॉनिटर हों। आमतौर पर, आप अलग-अलग पिक्सेल नहीं देख सकते, क्योंकि वे इतने छोटे होते हैं।
computer monitor के रेसोलुशन का मतलब है कि यह device कितने pixels को display करने की क्षमता रखते है. माना कि monitor का रेसोलुशन 800*600 है तो इसका मतलब है कि इसमें horizontal में 800 pixels तथा vertical में 600 pixels है. कुल मिलाकर मॉनिटर की screen 480,000 pixels को display करती है!
Q.4 What Do you mean By Digital Collage? Explain various Steps to Create it.
Ans. एक डिजिटल कोलाज एक कला रूप है, जो कला के एक पूरे नए काम को बनाने के लिए विभिन्न स्रोतों से आभासी छवियों और बनावट की एक साथ छंटनी करके बनाया गया है।
Steps to Create Digital Collage
Step 1. Open the selected images in Photoshop
Step 2. Create a new file
Create a new file (File -> New). Specify image size.
Step 3. Add your images one at a time
Go to one of the open photos and, using the marquee tool, select all (or press command+A). Press Command+C to copy. Click into the new document and press Command+V to paste. This will bring the photo into the new document on its own layer.
Step 4. Create your layout
After you have added all images that you want in the collage, it’s time to lay out the photos! This is where you will shift the photos around until you feel they tell your story best.
Q. 5 Explain Rulers, Guides and Grid.
Ans.
Ruler :-
Ruler आपको छवियों या तत्वों को ठीक स्थिति में लाने में मदद करते हैं। जब दृश्यमान होते हैं, Ruler सक्रिय विंडो के शीर्ष और बाईं ओर दिखाई देते हैं। Ruler में मार्कर जब आप इसे स्थानांतरित करते हैं तो सूचक की स्थिति प्रदर्शित करते हैं। Ruler उत्पत्ति ((0, 0) शीर्ष और बाएँ शासकों पर चिह्न को बदलना) आपको छवि पर एक विशिष्ट बिंदु से मापने की सुविधा देता है। Ruler की उत्पत्ति ग्रिड के मूल बिंदु को भी निर्धारित करती है।
Grid :-
फ़ोटोशॉप में ग्रिड फीचर आपके लेआउट डिज़ाइन के साथ आपकी सहायता करने के लिए एक बढ़िया उपकरण है, चाहे वेब के लिए इसका डिज़ाइन या प्रिंट। "स्नैप" जोड़ने से आप ग्रिड की तर्ज पर वस्तुओं को बहुत अच्छी तरह से संरेखित कर सकते हैं। और हर बार जब आप डिजाइन कर रहे हों तो एक नया ग्रिड बनाएं, आप ग्रिड वरीयता को सेट कर सकते हैं जिसका पुन: उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
Guide गैर-क्षैतिज क्षैतिज और ऊर्ध्वाधर रेखाएँ होती हैं, जिन्हें आप फ़ोटोशॉप दस्तावेज़ विंडो में अपनी पसंद के अनुसार रख सकते हैं। आम तौर पर उन्हें ठोस नीली रेखा के रूप में प्रदर्शित किया जाता है लेकिन आप गाइड को दूसरे रंग में और धराशायी रेखा में बदल सकते हैं।
Q.6 How to change the print size of an Image?
Ans. To resize an image for print in Photoshop, we use the Image Size dialog box. To open it, go up to the Image menu in the Menu Bar and choose Image Size:

To Change the Print Size Click on View Menu
Choosing Print Size.
By this option we can change the print size of an Image.
Q.7 What is toolbox? What are various tools in Photoshop?
Ans. टूलबॉक्स एक फ़्लोटिंग पैलेट है जिसमें फ़ोटोशॉप का प्राथमिक माउस-नियंत्रित टूल है। बाएं माउस क्लिक से सक्रिय होने पर ये विभिन्न उपकरण, उपयोगकर्ता के माउस कर्सर को चयनित टूल से बदल देते हैं। उपयोगकर्ता तब मुख्य रूप से माउस के माध्यम से नियंत्रित विभिन्न कार्यों को करने के लिए उस टूल का उपयोग कर सकता है।
Most commonly used Photoshop tools are
Move Tool – To move a part of any image.
Marquee Tools – To give any particular shape of an image.
Lasso Tools – To make any selection on an image.
Quick Selection Tool/Magic Wand Tool – To make a quick selection.
Crop Tool – To crop any part of an image.
8. What do you mean by Selection? How can you move, show or hide a selection using Photoshop?.

Hide or show selection edges
Do one of the following:
Choose View > Extras. This command shows or hides selection edges, grids, guides, target paths, slices, annotations, layer borders, count, and Smart Guides.
Choose View > Show > Selection Edges. This toggles the view of the selection edges and affects the current selection only. The selection edges reappear when you make a different selection.
Q. 9 How can you Refine Selection edges in Photoshop?
Ans. Steps to Refine Selection edges in Photoshop :-
Step 1: Make An Initial Selection
Refine Edge does not include a way for us to create our initial selection. It can refine the selection, but it can't create one.
Step 2: Hold "Shift" And Choose "Select and Mask"
Press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard as you go up to the Select menu in the Menu Bar and choose Select and Mask:
Hold Shift while going to Select > Select and Mask.
Instead of opening the Select and Mask workspace, Photoshop opens the Refine Edge dialog box.
Q. 10 How can you soften the edges of selections? Explain.
Ans. We can soften edges by following these steps:
Using any selection method, create a selection around the part of an image you want to lighten.
Choose Select→Modify→Feather; in the Feather dialog box that appears, enter 25 in the Feather Radius text field and click OK. ...
Choose Image→Adjustments→Curves.
Q. 10 What is color mode? What are various color modes in Photoshop?
Ans. रंग मोड या छवि मोड, यह निर्धारित करता है कि रंग मॉडल में रंग चैनलों की संख्या के आधार पर एक रंग के घटकों को कैसे संयोजित किया जाता है। रंग मोड में ग्रेस्केल, RGB, और CMYK, अन्य शामिल हैं। फ़ोटोशॉप एलिमेंट्स बिटमैप, ग्रेस्केल, इंडेक्सेड और RGB कलर मोड्स को सपोर्ट करता है।
फ़ोटोशॉप में विभिन्न रंग मोड:
• RGB मोड (लाखों रंग)
• CMYK मोड (चार-मुद्रित रंग)
• Index मोड (256 रंग)
• ग्रेस्केल मोड (256 ग्राम)

Q. 11 What do you mean by layers in Photoshop? Explain with its uses.
Ans. फोटोशॉप की परतें स्टैक्ड एसीटेट की शीट की तरह होती हैं। ... आप सामग्री को आंशिक रूप से पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए एक परत की अस्पष्टता को भी बदल सकते हैं। एक परत पर पारदर्शी क्षेत्र आपको नीचे परतें देखने देता है। आप कई छवियों को कंपोज़ करने, इमेज में टेक्स्ट जोड़ने या वेक्टर ग्राफिक आकृतियों को जोड़ने जैसे कार्यों को करने के लिए लेयर्स का उपयोग करते हैं।
फ़ोटोशॉप परतें आपको छवियों के पिक्सेल और इंटरेक्शन को मिलाए बिना छवियों के शीर्ष पर छवियों को स्टैक करके गैर-विनाशकारी रूप से काम करने की अनुमति देती हैं। "लेयर्स" एकमात्र ऐसी चीज है जो फोटोशॉप को एक अद्भुत फोटो एडिटिंग और कंपोजिंग टूल बनाती है।
